Day 3 August Break 2016 Handwriting

In this electronic age there is something almost sacred about having a bit of paper with a loved one’s handwriting.  For this challenge so many other people chose a recipe in their mother’s handwriting.  I know when my mother wrote this she probably didn’t think it would be cherished and certainly didn’t think it would be shared on social media. She just jotted it down and saved it.  My mom’s recipes and journals are the most precious things I have from her.  #

  1. I love reading my mom’s old journals (as a pre-teen) and seeing hers and my grandmother’s recipe cards. I love seeing their handwriting. It practically takes you back in time. 🙂
